Responsibilities- Own the full-cycle cost accounting function, including developing and maintaining standard costing systems for purchased and manufactured components.
- Co-lead the Net Suite inventory ERP module and cost accounting implementation and various system upgrades.
- Develop and deliver timely reports and operational KPIs to support business performance analytics and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Support annual operating plans, forecasts, and strategic planning activities related to manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost of goods sold.
- Establish and manage inventory quantity and location tracking across raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
- Monitor variances for manufacturing performance, including capacity utilization, labor efficiency, and scrap trends.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Operations and Accounting departments for all cost and inventory-related matters, including accurate financial statement reporting with U.S. GAAP.
- Co-lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold and related support for financial statement audits and internal control-related requirements.
- Assist in various special projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, operational finance, or plant controllership roles -- preferably in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments,
- Strong hands-on experience with inventory accounting, standard costing and variance analysis.
- Experience with outsourced manufacturing models.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, QAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across functions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation

CompensationThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in incentive compensation programs and receive a comprehensive benefits package.
