A local manufacturing company is adding an Accounting Clerk to support its finance team with transaction processing, invoice entry, reconciliations, and general administrative accounting tasks. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers but is also comfortable communicating with vendors and internal departments.

You'll gain exposure to several areas of accounting while working alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
• Verify invoice information and supporting documentation
• Assist with payment processing and vendor inquiries
• Enter customer payments and assist with Accounts Receivable
• Reconcile credit card and bank activity
• Maintain vendor files and accounting records
• Assist with purchase order and receiving documentation
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets and recurring reports
• Research discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Support the accounting team during month-end close
• Provide general administrative support to Finance
