As an Audit Manager, you will lead engagement strategy, oversee teams, and ensure exceptional client service:
- Oversee and manage multiple audit engagements and teams simultaneously
- Review and approve financial statements, audit reports, and key deliverables
- Drive engagement planning, risk assessment, and audit strategy
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key clients
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing issues
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm standards
- Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate audit staff, seniors, and supervisors
- Partner with firm leadership on growth initiatives and process improvements
- Participate in business development and client retention efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CPA or advancement towards status
- 5+ years of progressive Public Accounting experience
- Strong technical expertise in GAAP and GAAS
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
