We're seeking a Senior Accountant who enjoys analyzing financial performance, solving problems, improving processes, and partnering with operations teams. ✅ Qualifications

+ 3+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountant, Property Accountant, Project Accountant, Cost Accountant, etc.)

+ Experience preparing and reviewing P&L statements

+ Thorough experience with month-end close, journal entries, and credit card reconciliations

+ Experience reviewing expenses, receipts, invoices, and account activity

+ Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis)

+ Quick Books Online experience preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reporting packages

+ Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

+ Analyze profitability and financial performance across business operations

+ Review expenses, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper coding

+ Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and investigate outstanding transactions

+ Research discrepancies and resolve accounting issues independently

+ Analyze large datasets in Excel to support reporting and decision-making

+ Partner with internal teams to provide financial insight and operational support

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

+ Support audits and maintain accurate accounting records

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and efficiency

+ Assist with accounting system enhancements and automation initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
