We’re hiring motivated and reliable STEM Tutors to support students in grades K-12,
predominantly for High School,in math and science. This role focuses on building strong foundational skills, improving problem-solving abilities, and helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects.
This is an in-person, part-time tutoring position and a great opportunity for teachers, substitute teachers, STEM majors, education majors, graduate students, experienced tutors or people who enjoy working directly with students and making a meaningful impact.
ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one or small-group STEM tutoring for students in grades K–12
Support math subjects (elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, calculus) and/or science (general science, biology, chemistry, physics) based on your strengths
Break down complex concepts into clear, student-friendly explanations
Assist with homework, test preparation, and skill development
Encourage curiosity, confidence, and a growth mindset
Submit brief session notes and communicate progress with families and our team
Strong academic background in math and/or science
Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and academic levels
Reliable transportation for in-person sessions
Professional, punctual, and dependable
Minimum commitment of 3 months
After-school and early evening availability required
Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a STEM or education-related field
Experience working with students
Familiarity with advanced coursework or standardized test prep is a plus
Flexible scheduling based on your availability
Consistent weekly students and predictable hours
Supportive, organized office team
