About the Role:
Teach ballet classes to students of various ages and skill levels. Develop engaging lesson plans that foster creativity and technique. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills. Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere. Organize and participate in recitals and performances. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the curriculum. Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a ballet teacher or dancer with a strong background in ballet.
- Formal training in ballet from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages.
- Patience and adaptability in teaching methods.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Passion for dance and commitment to fostering a love for the art.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Tutu School Carlsbad has been a beloved dance studio in the community for over a decade, offering a unique and joyful approach to ballet education. Our students thrive in a supportive environment, and our dedicated instructors enjoy a collaborative and fulfilling workplace. Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
Tutu School is a collection of quaint boutique ballet schools that provides a creative dance education experience for children from 6 months to 8 years old. It is a place where students are urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet, but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.
