Electrical Engineer

Position: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Candidates will have experience in the electrical design of major projects with a thorough knowledge of industry standard design practices and codes. High rise experience is desired for this is a rapidly growing forensic investigation market.

Specifically, candidate shall have experience with cause, origin, and cost of repair analyses with damage from electrical products and systems, analyses related to equipment and product failures, electrocutions and electrical injuries, electrical fires, code and compliance, and evaluations of electrical equipment and systems.

Appropriate candidates will have experience in advanced HVAC/Plumbing analysis and the ability to develop, analyze, and evaluate detailed construction documents, drawings, and/or specifications. Candidates should demonstrate creative thinking in order to resolve complex structural design problems. Additionally, candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills and have a collaborative and team-oriented attitude.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* In-depth knowledge and experience in the preparation of electrical details, manufacturer requirements, and building codes.

* Experience in supporting the construction administration phase of the project and preparing engineering reports.

* Master electrician certification or equivalent preferred.

* NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) preferred.

* NFPA certifications preferred.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* PE license required.

* High rise experience desired.

* Willing to travel within the State, with potential for regional travel.
