Job Summary
2026 Entry Level Rotational Program:
Chemical, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering at DuPont Electronics Business, Carlsbad, CA. This program offers experienced early-career students the chance to rotate through hands‑on assignments in various engineering and operations roles while receiving technical and leadership training.
Implement engineering best practices; analyze and improve processes; contribute to projects enhancing safety, product quality, equipment, and infrastructure. Rotate through roles such as Production/Process Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Equipment Reliability & Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality, Technical Service, and Operations Management.
Requirements- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an ABET‑accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Minimum of 6 months of paid co‑op or internship experience in the relevant engineering discipline.
- Legal right to work in the United States without employment restrictions.
- 100% geographic flexibility; willing to relocate to new locations as needed.
- Willingness to be on‑call for plant area support when required.
- Commit to a multi‑year program and complete a minimum of two assignments (typically 12‑24 months per assignment).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities (initiative, agility, adaptability, influence).
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or willingness to earn within first 24 months).
- Training/experience with root‑cause failure analysis, process hazards analysis, and high‑hazard process safety.
Carlsbad, CA. Pay range: $57,120 - $89,760 per year, based on role, location, experience, skills, and performance.
