Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering
- 7-10 years of Manufacturing supporting sustaining manufacturing and production teams
- Solid Works to create and experience maintaining 3D parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings
- Experience with APQP/ Phase Gates: (Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, Design Reviews, Test plans)
- Experience with:
Plastics, machined components, Electromechanical assemblies, IP Sealing concepts - Ensure all required deliverables are completed despite compressed timelines.
- Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt a plus)
- Spanish and or Japanese is a plus
- Lead variance studies with close collaboration with industrial and with manufacturing team
- Update all designs including:
Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA), Design for Cost, and Design for - Plan and support testing to validate design changes, including functional, environmental, durability, and reliability testing
- Review legacy designs and assemblies to reduce cost, improve quality, increase robustness, and simplify manufacturing and assembly.
