Process Engineer
The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing methods and processes to produce company products. This role ensures a culture of safety is maintained in all processes and throughout the company, supports equipment maintenance and calibration, develops and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, executes validations, and analyses process data. This position is part of the Process Engineering Team located in Carlsbad, CA and will be onsite.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 1 or more years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar role
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and formalized Problem Solving
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment such as medical device.
- Experience with Process Capability Analysis, Minitab or JMP Statistical Knowledge.
