Electric Connector Technology (ECT) is a leading global provider of RF connectivity solutions and one of China's largest manufacturers of RF connectors and cable assemblies. As we continue to expand our footprint in the North American market, we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing US team.

Our product portfolio includes RF connectors, cable assemblies, antennas, shield cans, automotive connectivity solutions (FAKRA), and customized interconnect products that enable next-generation communications across consumer electronics, automotive, networking, and industrial applications.

As a Field Application Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our customers, sales team, and engineering organization. You ll help customers design the right solutions, accelerate product adoption, and drive successful project execution from concept through production.

This is a highly visible role where you ll influence customer decisions, support strategic accounts, and contribute directly to ECT s continued growth in North America.

• Partner closely with the US Sales team to support strategic accounts and territory growth.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by serving as their primary technical advisor.
• Lead customer engagements including technical presentations, solution recommendations, product demonstrations, design reviews, and proposal support.
• Drive design wins and customer adoption across ECT s RF connectors, cable assemblies, antennas, shield cans, and automotive connectivity products.
• Manage project execution by coordinating schedules, milestones, technical communications, and cross-functional activities.
• Identify technical risks early and proactively work with engineering, operations, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.
• Stay current with emerging wireless technologies and industry trends, including LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi (WLAN), Bluetooth, and future communication standards.
• Provide technical training and product education to customers and internal teams.
• Support business growth by identifying new application opportunities and expanding customer relationships.

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (BSEE/MSEE preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in RF, wireless communications, interconnect, antenna, connector, cable assembly, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi (WLAN), Bluetooth, and modern wireless communication systems.
• Knowledge of RF transmitter and receiver fundamentals and wireless device architectures.
• Experience supporting customers through product selection, design-in, troubleshooting, and project execution.
• Proven ability to support technical sales and contribute to business growth.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English;
  Mandarin Chinese is the PLUS.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
