• Lead the design, evaluation, testing, performance, and documentation of wireless security camera products.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Operations, Product Marketing, Industrial Design, and ODM partners to develop new products or customize existing ones.
• Ensure project goals for performance, cost, and schedule are met.
• Coordinate with 2nd and 3rd‑tier suppliers, outside consultants, and fabrication vendors.
• Manage international travel as required (approximately 10‑15%).

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSMEM) from an accredited university.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to lead programs and drive issues to closure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present mechanical design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Minimum 8+ years in product design or mechanical engineering for high‑end consumer electronics, or 5+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Deep experience in consumer electronics/product design and proven collaboration with Industrial Design, functionality, and ecosystems teams.
• Extensive 3D CAD experience (Creo, Solid Works, or equivalent) with recent (last 5 years) experience in complex surfacing.
• Experience designing camera or camera‑related products, including plastic injection mold part design, outdoor weatherproof enclosures, die casting, adhesives, stamping, machining, rapid prototypes, and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with progressive‑die sheet metal part design.
• Design experience for high‑volume, low‑cost products exceeding 1million units per year.
• Effective leadership, organization, and project management skills.
• Track record of taking ownership of projects, getting the job done with minimal supervision, and successfully leading projects through pilot to mass production.
• Strong problem‑solving and issue‑resolution capabilities.
• Self‑starter who thrives on teamwork and is sensitive to design aesthetics.
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $170,000 per year, with potential additional compensation through bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
