Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Precision Systems

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced precision mechanisms and electro-mechanical systems supporting critical national security programs.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens authorized to work in the United States.
An Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance (active within the last two years) is required for this position. Candidates must also be eligible to meet all applicable security requirements.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role where you'll own complex mechanical designs from concept through qualification while working alongside multidisciplinary teams of electrical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers. • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Own significant hardware throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept through production
• Create detailed 3D models, part drawings, and complete Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
• Perform component selection, trade studies, tolerance analysis, and design optimization
• Prototype, assemble, integrate, and test mechanical hardware
• Develop and execute mechanical test plans and validation procedures
• Support hardware integration, troubleshooting, and qualification testing
• Participate in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and peer reviews
• Implement engineering changes and maintain design documentation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor designers and technicians
• Support customer demonstrations and field testing activities when required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of mechanical product design experience (or equivalent)
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance (active within the last two years acceptable)
• Favorable polygraph
• Experience designing complex mechanical hardware
• Strong CAD modeling experience
• Experience generating engineering drawings and Technical Data Packages
• Hands-on prototype, integration, and testing experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
