Staff Systems Engineer
Max Linear is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to focus on Optical Modules, AECs, and Data Center Applications and the following:
Proven experience with high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, Ser Des) used in data center and AI systems
Expertise in DSP re-timer architectures and signal processing techniques
Strong background in signal integrity analysis, PCB design, and simulation tools (ADS, Cadence, Matlab)
Hands-on experience with test and measurement, and debug of high-speed links
Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 5 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience, or Ph.D.
Max Linear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.
Max Linear's good faith estimate starting base salary range is: $134,000 to $175,000 Annually

The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.
