The Supplier Engineer serves as a liaison between Boston Scientific’s Global Sourcing and cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues. Using standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, this role executes on key assignments and defined objectives to evaluate variables and make modifications as needed.

This defined-term position is expected to conclude by mid-2028

Your responsibilities will include:- Executing supplier engineering procedures including material qualification and all required Windchill activities to supporting large-scale projects and sub-work streams
- Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to qualify and improve supplier processes; plan, coordinate and execute detailed phases of all engineering work
- Partnering with category teams and suppliers to resolve supplied material issues and supply constraints
- Executing and supporting material investigations to identify and address the root cause of defective components within the supply base
- Managing the Supplier Change Impact Assessment (SCIA) process to implement supplier-related changes in the relevant quality management system
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 3 years of supplier and manufacturing operations experience
- Experience with supplier relationship management and technical evaluation or purchased component management
- Experience executing engineering fundamentals (LEAN, Six Sigma, DFM, statistical methods etc.)
- Experience working with cross-functional in a technically demanding environment
- Ability to travel 20% globally
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering
- Experience in medical device or similarly regulated industry
- Experience with manufacturing engineering or working with neuromodulation-based suppliers
- Self-starter with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills

Maximum Salary: $ 142600
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see —will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
