Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring for the Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Mechanisms) role on behalf of its client, an aerospace and defense company. The engineer takes ownership of significant system components across the full product lifecycle, including requirements definition, concept generation, material selection, trade studies, design sensitivity and optimization analyses, preliminary and final design, design documentation, and assembly, integration and test.
Day-to-day work centers on 3D modeling and critical hardware design with significant hands-on time in the lab. An active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph is required.
- Provide regular formal and informal briefings to internal and external stakeholders, including customer representatives.
- Generate Technical Data Package components (part and assembly drawings).
- Prototype, integrate and test component parts and assemblies.
- Develop test plans and procedures for mechanical subsystems; perform test and evaluation of parts and systems.
- Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph (active within the last two years will be considered).
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Mechanical design experience and proficiency with CAD tools.
Base salary of $130,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
