Position Snapshot

The Front Desk/Host positions ensure guests’ initial impressions are positive and welcoming. The role requires a strong communicator who guides guests through retail, game rental, and dining experiences.

• Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games in an ideal environment for celebrating fun.
• Act as ambassador to the building, greeting guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone calls.
• Smile and greet guests upon entering; bid farewell to guests leaving, ensuring everything was satisfactory and inviting them to return.
• Prepare for the shift by stocking supplies (menus, silverware, Power cards, gift cards, etc.) and reviewing cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station.
• Ensure menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained; restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• Notify the manager of any guests that are perceived to be unhappy; drive table‑turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing, and cleaning tables as necessary.
• Rotates seating appropriately following guidelines to ensure fairness and balance in the dining areas.
• Manage flow from the front doors, efficiently helping guests with needs and directing them as needed.
• Manage wait times and communicate information as needed to guests, team members, and managers.
• Deliver silverware as guests are seated; make timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions.
• Process transactions and handle reconciliation of any monies from the bank.
• Complete “To‑Go” order transactions for guests and ensure accuracy.
• Sell merchandise from the front desk, if applicable.

• Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm for D&B.
• Dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
• Skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and calling issues to manager’s attention.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time.
• Walk or stand 100% of the shift.
• Reach, bend, and stoop frequently.

$16.90 - $18.40 per hour.
