This position begins on the tax side of the business
, where you’ll learn the tax code, prepare individual and small-business tax returns, and develop the technical skills that support real financial decision-making. After tax season, your role expands into financial planning and wealth management
, supporting client plans, analysis, and long-term strategy.
We’re looking for someone who wants to grow, take ownership, and eventually become a trusted professional within the firm.
Responsibilities During Tax Season- Prepare individual (1040) and basic business tax returns
- Learn federal and state tax rules, deductions, credits, and carryovers
- Organize client data and work within tax and client-portal systems
- Assist senior advisors with research and client support
- Assist with financial planning and client analysis
- Help prepare meeting materials and plan summaries
- Learn investment fundamentals and portfolio construction
- Support ongoing client service and relationship management
- Strong math and analytical skills
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Early riser —tax season starts early, and discipline matters
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an old-school, work-hard attitude
- Professional demeanor and appearance suitable for client-facing work
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable
- Experience preferred
, but recent graduates with a background in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field will be considered. - This role may be a strong fit for a second-career professional
