Main Purpose and Major Challenges of the RoleThe e-Commerce Project & Operations Manager will oversee both the operational backbone and the evolution of our digital ecosystem. You’ll manage day-to-day site operations, third-party vendors, promotional planning, and reporting—while also leading the project management of the digital capability roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives that enhance performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can balance execution and strategy to help drive operational excellence, project execution, and platform innovation.
* this role has a 3-4 days in-office expectation, change subject to business needs.
ACCOUNTABILITY:- Oversee global daily operations of owned websites ensuring site functionality, accuracy, and an elevated customer experience.
- Manage all operational aspects of the e-commerce site, including product launches, inventory accuracy, site QA, regional content and order flow.
- Serve as the main liaison between e-commerce, fulfillment, customer experience, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery (3PL/SFS/BOPIS efficiencies and SLA compliance).
- Monitor daily site health, identifying and resolving operational issues, bugs, and fulfillment bottlenecks.
- Own and optimize e-commerce workflows and documentation — ensuring consistent, scalable processes across teams.
- Lead the optimization of backend processes and systems to minimize P&L impact from returns & exchanges, fulfillment, fraudulent payments, cancelations et al.
- Plan and oversee executi on of all key GTM calendar events.
- Manage and optimize relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and platform partners.
- Evaluate, onboard, and oversee external partners to maximize ROI, efficiency, and brand alignment.
- Maintain and improve integrations between core systems.
Digital Capability Roadmap & Project Management
- Lead the project management and execution of the digital capability roadmap, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Partner cross-functionally with Development, Marketing, CX, and Merchandising to prioritize, document, and launch new digital initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into actionable project plans with clear timelines, ownership, and success metrics.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the e-commerce tech stack to continuously improve site performance and scalability.
Programs & Platform Ownership
Own and optimize key brand programs including our Pro-Form and Pre-Owned Resell initiatives.
- Manage program setup, daily operations, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Develop and implement enhancements that support business goals and customer satisfaction.
- Build and manage the annual and seasonal e-commerce promotional calendar, aligning with marketing and merchandising priorities.
- Coordinate campaign execution and site readiness, including discount setup, QA, and reporting.
- Partner with Finance and Marketing to forecast and analyze sales performance across campaigns and product categories.
Reporting & Optimization
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, margin etc).
- Deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and performance optimization.
- Support continuous improvement across tools, workflows, and digital processes.
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital project management, or digital merchandising, ideally in apparel, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Must have a “customer first” mentality that understands how site testing affects the customer experience both positively and negatively.
- Must have thorough understanding of Shopify and third‑party apps.
- Ability to think independently and creatively to problem solve.
- Proven ability to work smoothly with other departments and ecommerce stakeholders.
- Understanding of data and analytics such as Shopify reports and Google Analytics.
- Must have experience working with agencies and contractors.
