Business Analyst with Manhattan WMOS

Rate: $50/hr on W2

Experience:

8‑10 years

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on Manhattan WMOS (2010 and 2018)
• 2‑3 years with Oracle Enterprise E1 and Oracle PL/SQL
• 2‑3 years with MS SQL Server Management Studio, including stored procedures and trigger development
• 2‑3 years supporting Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) processes using Warehouse Mgmt, Transportation Mgmt, and Order Mgmt systems; preferred experience with QAD Precision/Trax
• 2‑3 years working with integration technologies and systems such as XML, web Methods, or Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM)
• 1‑2 years with reporting tools such as IBM Cognos or Power BI
• 1‑2 years supporting machine automation systems like conveyors, print and apply applicators, in‑line weigh scales, and case sealers

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and business users to create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and System Requirement Specification Documents (SRS) through workshops.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to implement software upgrades, document use cases, conduct UAT, and design future enhancements.
• Design system solutions that meet business requirements and align with IT architecture standards.
• Develop detailed design documents, including data models, process flows, and system interfaces.
• Partner with system analysts and architects on technical design and coordinate development work with vendors and internal teams.

• Deliver incident/break/fix and provide production support as needed.
• Offer continuous support for deployed systems, identifying problems and devising practical solutions.
• Conduct functional, regression, UAT, and integration testing to verify business needs are met.
• Create complex database queries, stored procedures in MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL, and maintain SQL scripts for testing and defect retesting.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure efficient operation.

• Conduct training sessions for end‑users and technical staff on new systems and improvements.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.
