Medical Hardware Technician

We are seeking a Medical Hardware Technician to join a growing healthcare technology team supporting the deployment, maintenance, and repair of medical hardware and related technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, hardware repair, inventory management, and working directly with customers to solve complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience repairing computer hardware, configuring devices for field use, and supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer and medical hardware
• Build, configure, and prepare medical equipment to required specifications
• Install software and configure devices for field deployment
• Support laptops, tablets, monitors, IP cameras, Bluetooth-enabled devices, and related equipment
• Maintain accurate inbound and outbound hardware inventory records
• Respond to support requests through service desk platforms, email, and phone
• Run diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware and software issues
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and hotspot connectivity issues
• Maintain detailed service and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and third-party support providers as needed
• Track parts inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Clean, test, package, and prepare equipment for shipment or storage
• Travel occasionally to customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment onsite
• Communicate technical information clearly to medical professionals and non-technical users

• Previous experience in hardware repair, technical support, or a related technical role
• Strong troubleshooting skills across computer and electronic hardware
• Experience repairing laptops, tablets, monitors, and related devices
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN and WAN environments
• Advanced soldering experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel up to 5%
• CompTIA A+ Certification
• CompTIA Network+ Certification

• Experience performing mechanical repairs
• Familiarity with bench testing equipment
• Experience managing hardware and asset inventories
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies
• Experience working with power tools, including drills and other shop equipment
• Experience supporting healthcare, medical, or clinical technology environments

Interested candidates with hardware repair, IT support, electronics troubleshooting, or field service experience are encouraged to apply. Healthcare technology experience is a plus but not required.
