We are hiring a full-time Buyer II / Procurement Specialist to support supplier sourcing, purchasing, quote follow-up, order administration, quality documentation, and general operations support. This is a hands-on, long-term opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, develop broader responsibilities, and grow with the company.
Buyer II / Procurement SpecialistWe are hiring a full-time Buyer II / Procurement Specialist to support supplier sourcing, purchasing, quote follow-up, order administration, quality documentation, and general operations support. This is a hands-on, long-term opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, develop broader responsibilities, and grow with the company.
Job Responsibilities- Manage supplier requests for quotation, quote follow-up, purchase orders, order acknowledgments, delivery status, supplier documentation, and new supplier sourcing.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, order, and internal system records.
- Communicate professionally and persistently with domestic and international suppliers.
- Support quality documentation, audit preparation, and the coordination of supplier or customer quality issues.
- Assist with data entry, light bookkeeping activities, and other operational responsibilities as needed.
- Develop into broader responsibilities involving bidding, pricing research, supplier development, and procurement management.
- Minimum two years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier coordination, order management, or a closely related role.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written communication skills and consistent professional follow-up with suppliers and internal team members.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable with data entry, recordkeeping, documentation, and administrative follow-through.
- Able to learn quickly, work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and operate effectively in a small-business environment.
- Able to handle sensitive business information professionally.
- Experience with aerospace, defense, government contracting, quality systems, manufacturing, distribution, or supplier sourcing is a plus.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
- Salary: $70,000–$82,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
