Corner Stone Professional Placement is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a global pharmaceutical company in Carlsbad, California
. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional with experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, or Sales & Operations Planning (SOP). In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize demand and supply planning, improve forecast accuracy, support new product launches, and help ensure product availability.

Position DetailsPosition: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Carlsbad, California (Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. One onsite day must be either Monday or Friday)
Schedule: Full-time | Standard business hours, Monday-Friday
Employment Type: Temporary Assignment (Approximately 9 Months)
Compensation: $32.00-$34.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
The compensation range listed represents the good‑faith hourly rate the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Individual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and business needs.
Essential Functions- Analyze demand, inventory, sales, forecasting, and replenishment data to maintain product availability and optimize inventory levels.
- Develop and maintain reports, forecasts, and planning models that support supply chain decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support demand planning, supply planning, and new product launches.
- Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate supply risks, planning recommendations, and business impacts to key stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Manage near‑term demand and supply planning by analyzing sales, inventory, forecasting, and replenishment data to maintain product availability and optimize inventory levels.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams‑including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain‑to coordinate supply plans, business priorities, and new product launches.
- Monitor key supply chain KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory coverage, product availability, and vendor/customer performance, recommending corrective actions when appropriate.
- Identify forecast exceptions, supply risks, and process improvement opportunities through data analysis while supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process.
- Utilize ERP and planning systems to improve planning efficiency, communicate business impacts, and support continuous operational improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, SOP, logistics, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise planning systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, beauty, or related industries.
- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies.
- Experience supporting project management or continuous process improvement initiatives.

- Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
