Custodian

Evening Custodian

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Wednesday and Thursday off)

Pay: $19.75 – $22.25 per hour

• Maintain floors and carpets throughout the community
• Pick up and remove trash from trash rooms, offices, and other locations
• Clean all public areas including lobby, auditorium, arts and crafts room, and meeting rooms
• Provide preventive maintenance to housekeeping machines such as vacuums, carpet shampooers, and floor machines
• Set up meeting rooms in the auditorium, arts and crafts room, lobby, etc.
• Maintain all grounds, golf courses, and tennis courts clean throughout the shift
• Possibly work weekends, holidays, and floating mornings and evenings as needed
• Assist other custodians with special requests and dispatching work among teams
• Communicate with shift custodians and supervisors

• Reliable and able to follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor
• Prior janitor or floor‑maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks
• Ability to drive utility vehicles
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
