The Distribution Center Senior Manager - LDCM is responsible for day-to-day operational excellence of the site, ensuring consistent application of standard operating procedures & policies and Key Performance Indicators are achieved. This role is responsible for site financials including P&L management and will lead and manage all employment related activity for site team members.
Responsibilities- Manage labor, delivery, and other variable costs within the Distribution Center to align with annual business plans.
- Drive team member accountability and performance ensuring company policies are administered appropriately.
- Drive company safety initiatives to ensure safe and on time delivery of products to customers inclusive of specific safety performance requirements (TRIR-Total Reportable Incidence Rate) and Preventable Accident rates)
- Collaborate with Wholesale and Franchise sales teams to meet established service level agreements and identify opportunities for improved customer service
- Drive initiatives that foster an Employer of Choice environment and employee experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals for site
- Ensure compliance with the company and regulatory training to ensure that staff is equipped to perform assigned duties.
- Partners with Human Resources to lead the execution of employment cycle activities for team members within site, including hiring, training, performance management and succession.
- Observe operations with a critical eye, bringing forth ideas for continuous improvement updates or redesigns of Standard Operating Procedures to improve efficiency, cost, or customer satisfaction.
