Formulation Scientist I / Manufacturing Scientist I will be a member of the Formulations and Buffers team and will support the dilution and preparation of monoclonal antibodies and various enzymes. This position involves performing hands‑on manufacturing activities in a fast‑paced production environment while ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and laboratory procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, aseptic laboratory techniques, and accurate documentation practices.
ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & Laboratory Operations
- Perform dilutions of monoclonal antibodies.
- Perform dilutions of various enzymes.
- Execute hands‑on manufacturing activities according to production schedules.
- Conduct multiple production runs simultaneously.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
- Perform proper aseptic laboratory techniques.
- Follow all departmental guidelines, procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Prepare and initiate procedures and manufacturing documentation under supervision.
- Accurately enter production data and observations into databases.
- Revise SOPs, batch records, and related documentation as required.
- Initiate problem reports for production issues or deviations.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain laboratory supply inventory.
- Reorder laboratory supplies as needed.
- Perform inventory transactions and inventory management activities.
- Support team objectives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related Life Sciences field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated manufacturing, laboratory, or biotechnology environment.
- Strong experience in Biologics manufacturing, Antibody handling and dilution, and Enzyme preparation and dilution is highly desired.
- Aseptic laboratory techniques.
- Laboratory documentation and record keeping.
- Strong laboratory mathematics skills.
- Inventory management.
- Data entry and database management.
- SOP and batch record management.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
