Electro-Mechanical Assembler II
The Assembler is responsible for building electronic and electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies using mechanical components, wiring, and hand tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role follows work instructions and quality standards to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Schedule- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Overtime as needed
- Assemble electronic and mechanical products using hand and power tools.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support Kanban processes, audits, and inventory transactions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 6S standards.
- Report quality or safety concerns and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Work across multiple production stations as needed.
- 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with electronic/electro-mechanical assembly and wiring.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Basic computer skills and ability to lift 25+ lbs.
- Experience with Kanban systems and Lean/6S environments.
- Knowledge of quality processes and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Clean, modern manufacturing facility.
- Standing, assembly-line work using mechanical and electronic components.
- Safety-focused environment with provided PPE and employee lockers.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
