The Performance & Growth Marketing Manager reports under Marketing and liaises between Sales, In Studio, On Demand, Apparel, Operations, and ancillary products teams to ensure performance and growth through programs, promotional efforts, and initiatives. The Manager is responsible for strategic programs, offers, and campaigns to increase leads, new member acquisition, conversion, and revenue across channels. This role is accountable for promotions and sales results while driving continuous improvement through testing, optimization, and reporting.
This role owns performance strategy, optimization direction, cross‑functional coordination, and analysis/reporting.
- Identify opportunities to increase:
- New customer leads, nurturing, and purchases
- Former customer win backs, nurturing, and purchases
- Member accumulation by referral marketing
- Membership growth and add‑on revenue
- Own the B2C growth roadmap for In‑Studio and Jazzercise On Demand Membership, including seasonal promotional planning and always‑on acquisition
- Initiates consumer insights where necessary to inform strategy, targeting, offer development, and messaging
- Identify and provide recommendations for opportunities to do new A/B tests, cross‑promote other business units, upsells/cross‑sells, affiliates and integrate promotions into other initiatives
- Provide recommendations to test and optimize landing pages and purchase funnel steps that connect with target audiences and move them down the funnel
- Identify and provide recommendations for cross‑promotions, upsells/cross‑sells, and integration of ancillary products into Membership and On Demand initiatives
- Identify and leverage fitness‑adjacent, affiliated, and partner networks to expand reach and drive new member acquisition.
- Develop communications strategy and supporting documents to guide, educate, and encourage optimal participating by Franchise Owners and Associates
- Define and manage campaign timelines including tasks, dependencies, priorities, and milestones across internal teams and agency partners
- Monitor budgets, establish project plans and processes to balance resource capacity, budget overages or efficiency issues
- Organize, structure, and prioritize workloads, ensuring teams stay focused and motivated
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, franchises, and vendors/agencies, when necessary
- Proactively identify project risks and formulate strategies to mitigate them; elevate issues with recommended solutions
- Review all project deliverables for quality assurance, including accuracy of offer details, dates, pricing, promo codes, links, and tracking requirements
- Maintain program documents and lead internal promotions meetings
- Communicate project status updates at weekly marketing and manager meetings
- Manage projects and programs using Marketing’s Sprint Methodology within project management software to ensure clear prioritization, execution, and accountability
- Collaborate with creative, brand, CRM, content, and social team members to develop campaign strategies and creative approach grounded in performance goals
- Manage growth campaigns and promotions from start to finish, working cross‑functionally with In‑Studio and Jazzercise On Demand membership stakeholders, Apparel/ancillary teams and vendors/agencies on franchisee and brand assets, including but not limited to:
- Co‑create campaign strategy and execution documentation with Sales for franchise owners
- Produce actionable marketing briefs for creative concepting aligned to growth goals and testing needs, audience strategy and offer strategy
- Collaborate with creative team to produce campaign assets including photo & video as needed
- Collaborate with brand, social, and email team to plan and execute integrated campaign support (organic + paid)
- Partner with advertising agency on digital advertising strategy, targeting, budgets, and optimization direction
- Provide email, mobile, and communication strategy recommendations on segmentation, timing, copy, and creative in partnership with CRM team
