Community Canvasser - Collect signatures progressive ballot initiative

Hiring Immediately – $24/hr starting – $26/hr for leadership + $150-$360 per week in bonus potential
Full‑time & Part‑time

Help us gather signatures in San Diego to qualify a local measure that protects essential services like emergency response and disaster preparedness for our communities. From now through March, our team will engage directly with voters at high‑traffic community locations to collect signatures and build support. This is face‑to‑face petitioning at public sites, not door‑to‑door canvassing or fundraising.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas:
Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $24/hour. Team Lead positions start at $26/hour. We offer performance bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.
