Job Summary

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for an assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting on 25 May 2026, and includes 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

  • Knowledge of nursing process & clinical nursing practices
  • Perform thorough assessments & communicate findings effectively
  • Proficient in administering medications & monitoring side effects
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail in documenting patient care
  • Knowledge of safety standards, infection control & quality improvement initiatives
  • Leadership experience: Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
  • Clinical experience: Emergency Department, Level 3 Trauma
  • Licensure: Must comply with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures
