QC Final Inspector
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Position SummaryThe QC Final Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality standards by performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and documenting inspection results. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and experience using precision measuring tools.
Responsibilities- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections across multiple product technologies
- Use hand measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Interpret engineering drawings for dimensional and visual inspection requirements
- Generate NCRs for discrepant materials
- Understand and apply GD&T principles during inspections
- Provide feedback to production and other departments regarding inspection findings
- Document inspection results using internal QA databases, FAIRs, AS9102 FAIRs, and NCRs
- Follow procedures for proper use and maintenance of measurement equipment
- Communicate inspection issues to QA leadership
- Maintain organized and accurate inspection records
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools required
- Experience with CMM or articulating arm equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO
9001:2015 or other industry standards preferred - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Basic computer and Windows PC navigation skills required
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Production environment experience preferred
- Manufacturing and production environment
- Requires working onsite Monday through Friday
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to use hands for inspection and measurement tasks
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
This is a full-time onsite position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some overtime or evening work may be required based on business needs.
