Savory Farms (by Angels Salumi & Truffles) is a deluxe retail shop and kitchen focused on premium prepared foods, gifts, and gourmet staples. We run a clean, friendly, zero‑drama operation with high standards.

Non‑exempt, hourly.

Reports to:

Retail Operations Lead (or Store Manager)

• Deliver 5‑star service: greet, consult, and guide guests; learn preferences and suggest bundles/gifts.
• Drive sales: hit daily KPIs; upsell add‑ons; manage phone/email orders and in‑store pickups.
• POS & cash handling: run Square accurately; follow cash‑control SOPs.
• Merchandising: stock, face, and price product; execute seasonal resets; keep displays immaculate.
• Order staging: assemble gift baskets and to‑go orders to spec; package cleanly for transport.
• Product knowledge: understand flavor profiles, ingredients, allergens, and simple pairings for gourmet items (no tastings).
• Compliance: date/lot labels on opened/ready‑to‑sell items; follow FIFO and sanitation basics; maintain a spotless floor.
• Team: communicate clearly with kitchen/receiving; report lows/outs and guest feedback.

• 1+ year specialty or premium retail experience (gourmet, wine, or boutique grocery preferred).
• Proven cash‑handling accuracy and POS fluency (Square experience a plus).
• Track record of meeting sales targets; confident, warm, and persuasive without being pushy.
• Organized, reliable, and coachable; strong verbal/written communication.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Certs: CA Food Handler within 30 days (preferred for handling packaged/opened foods).

You will be working either shifts for 40h/week.

Shifts:

8-hour shifts. Opener: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8 hrs paid + 30-min meal). Later: 9:45 AM–6:15 PM. Occasional weekends/holidays. $18–$20/hr DOE, non‑exempt; eligible for commission on designated categories (details provided in interview).
