Vuori is looking for an Assistant Store Manager of People Experience who will play a pivotal role in the success of our retail store through a focus on team experience and customer service excellence.

As an Assistant Store Manager of People Experience at Vuori, you partner with the General Manager to create employee engagement and customer service strategies, promote a culture of excellence through the ownership of sales & service and floor leadership programs. You live and breathe hospitality and your passion for exceptional service sets the tone for customer experience across the entire team.

You know that team experience drives customer experience, and it's your responsibility to ensure your people are clear, confident, and cared for. You understand that excellence comes from intentional practice, creating a space in the store that is rooted in learning, trust, gratitude, and fun. You'll inspire and grow high-performing teams, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and empower your people to consistently deliver results across our retail priorities.

Beyond team and service leadership, you'll champion local community engagement and cultivate meaningful relationships that reflect Vuori’s values and lifestyle. You deeply understand how systems within our business impact one another and uphold all product operations and visual merchandising SOPs and working routines.

Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training, development, and engagement strategies for store employees

Own and implement a unique store engagement strategy that aligns with our annual retail priorities and uses meaningful meetings to drive those priorities through SMART goals, training, coaching, and feedback to your team.

Support the General Manager in promoting a culture of excellence, emphasizing open communication, trust, respect, punctuality, accountability, and commitment to role responsibilities among staff members.

Champion a safe and healthy work environment by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards or risks, and implementing best practices and safety protocols.

Lead the store implementation of Vuori’s sales and service strategy, ensuring excellence and consistency across all customer interactions and touchpoints.

Intentionally spend time on the sales floor during peak segments of business, prioritizing that time to role model excellent floor leadership and drive business results.

Analyze quality of service KPIs and results, and identify themes. Lead a recognition strategy that rewards behaviors that generate great customer experience, and adjust strategy when needed.

Observe Floor Leaders and Sales Associates on the sales floor, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Empower employees to make decisions and resolve customer issues independently, while providing guidance and support as needed.

Assist in the implementation of community initiatives. This includes highly effective product promotion, team sweat, and community event strategies that position the store as a destination for both shopping and community involvement.

Represent the Vuori brand while in store and at community events.

Assist in the implementation of product operations initiatives to enhance efficiency in inventory management and product handling.
