This is a sales-focused position requiring a balance of business development, account management, commercial strategy, and event execution. Working collaboratively with Golf Operations, Resort Sales, Revenue Management, and other resort departments, this position is responsible for maximizing golf revenue while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining the resort's luxury service standards.

SUMMARY

To sell new Club Memberships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa and achieving the Club’s Membership Sales Plan. Develop and implement programs, projects and activities designed to increase and retain memberships in the club. Represent the club in its relationship with external constituencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaison between the members and management and has very strong rapport working under the auspices of the Club’s Bylaws.

Communication:
Telephoning Prospects, giving club tours of the Club, obtaining sales leads from outside sources, and sending out necessary membership correspondence to prospects and Members

Enrolling new Members through an orientation process – Supporting a 30/60/90 day follow up with department heads.

Completing all the processing paperwork for new Members:
Membership Application a Promissory Notes, and compliance with audit items. Ensures that established procedures for processing new members’ applications are consistently followed and are complete.

Promotes club activities to drive new sales and holds prospective member functions. Following up with Members for referrals and being visible in Club during peak member usage

Track all Follows-up on telemarketing and digital efforts, member referrals, leads to determine ROI on each campaign and marketing effort.

Maintains the club’s prospect data base in CRM and maintains Resort Suite.

Plans and implements strategies to meet club membership goals..

Researches the need for on-going sales promotions regarding demographics, market segmentation data, etc. Determines markets to be canvassed for qualified individuals

Tracks the success and overall performance of all membership open houses and prospect events.

Assists with development of the social activities and calendar to assist in driving new sales.

Assists in club member and public relations efforts, and club brochures and sales collateral with resort marketing and membership director. Assist with development of Club’s annual Marketing Plans

Effectively responds to member comments in accordance with club standards, policies and rules; uses ideas, feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to members.

Adheres to a departmental budget.

Interacts with local community organizations to network and market the club and drive the Omni La Costa brand to promote the sales of new memberships.

Attend Club’s Members Events and take lead to network and increase membership referrals.

Utilize CRM program accurately (data base prospects/members/leads) and be able to report details and monthly results.
