Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest growing rental business in North America— is seeking a Technician. This Technician role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location, primarily including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines may include large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.

• May need to provide tools of the trade.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):

Base pay range: $26.46 - $36.37 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
