ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, develop, test, and support Workday integrations, including inbound, outbound, and middleware integrations.
- Maintain and enhance existing integrations and troubleshoot production issues.
- Partner with business teams and vendors to analyze integration requirements and resolve integration-related issues.
- Follow best practices for integration design, testing, environment management, and deployment, including backup and rollback procedures.
- Lead integration testing activities, including unit testing and coordination of UAT.
- Monitor integrations and proactively troubleshoot failures or performance issues.
- Support Workday releases, regression testing, and deployment activities.
- Document integration designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, security, data, and enterprise technology teams.
- Collaborate with offshore technology teams to support issue resolution, knowledge transfer, handovers, and business continuity planning.
- Identify integration risks or data issues and support resolution.
- 3 - 4 years of Workday integration development experience
- Experience building integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Workday APIs, SOAP/REST services, or middleware tools.
- Experience with OX to migrate integrations.
- Experience in monitoring and supporting integrations between Workday and internal/external vendor systems.
- Experience with Workday HCM modules such as Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, or Compensation
- Hands‑on experience with XML, XSLT, and troubleshooting integration.
- Understanding of Workday security and integration best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 3 - 4 years of hands‑on Workday integration development experience
- Experience supporting Workday implementations or post‑production environments.
- Experience working in a compliant and auditable enterprise technology environment.
- Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
- Extensive use of office equipment and other business‑related machines and software.
