Kforce's client, a medical technology company, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level WPF Software Engineer to develop next-generation software for medical device platforms. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search assignment. Competitive compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and stock/RSUs. This position is mainly onsite in Carlsbad, CA. Responsibilities:
- Develop Windows desktop applications using C#, WPF, and XAML
- Design modern graphical user interfaces for medical device systems
- Create software modules for hardware communication, data storage/retrieval, and processing algorithms
- Support software verification, validation, and documentation efforts
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering teams

- Develop Windows desktop applications using C#, WPF, and XAML

- Support software verification, validation, and documentation efforts
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3-5+ years of software development experience
- 2-3+ years of hands‑on WPF development experience
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, XAML, Visual Studio, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with GUI development, multithreading, and SQL/No
SQL databases - Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Medical device software development experience or other highly regulated industry experience
- 3D visualization/GUI design experience
- Azure or AWS experience
- Knowledge of Python or Java Script

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
