CDL A Driver

This local CDL A Driver role is based in Carlsbad, California and pays $27.00 per hour. You will run assigned tractor-trailer routes with light touch freight and work Monday through Friday. This Trans Force driving opportunity offers a defined local assignment in the Carlsbad area with potential for long-term placement.

This role also requires a DOT medical card.

• $27.00 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1400
• Monday through Friday
• Start times vary between 4:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on the assigned route
• Temporary assignment scheduled through November 27, 2026, with potential for permanent placement
• Local work in Carlsbad, California

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local routes.
• Complete deliveries with varying routes and daily stops.
• Handle light touch freight for deliveries to vendors.
• Safely and frequently enter and exit the cab and rear cargo area.
• Lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Complete vehicle inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
