• Current New Mexico special education teaching license (required)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching techniques to diverse learning styles and needs

• Deliver personalized instruction to students with varying disabilities and learning profiles
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in line with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Document progress, assess student abilities, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
