Civil CADD Designer

• Perform civil design tasks such as grading and drainage for civil engineering projects
• Develop plan set deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Organize sets and sheets, develop details, and coordinate and review interdisciplinary work
• Assess drawing quality and initiate changes to meet established standards
• Produce high-quality designs according to industry standards and state or federal construction policies
• Meet project schedules and complete task deliverables on time
• Create study and design materials for public meetings and client deliverables
• Support planning and design functions of multidisciplinary teams
• Assess project requirements, break projects into tasks, and work with a Project Manager to confirm scope
• Produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and completed drawings from sketches, notes, and other input
• Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions for subsequent production processes
• Contribute to roadway, bridge, drainage, and site development projects from conceptual through final design
• Assist during the construction stage of projects

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field preferred
• Entry-level knowledge/experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to work independently with direction from team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to organize work, manage multiple projects/tasks, and consistently meet deadlines
• Intermediate Microsoft product software utilization
• Ability to interact well with coworkers
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Results-oriented, collaborative work style, and strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
