Plains All American Pipeline is seeking a Corrosion Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our midstream energy assets. In this role, you will monitor and maintain pipeline corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection, coatings, and internal corrosion mitigation. Responsibilities include field surveys, testing, data collection, troubleshooting, and documentation to meet regulatory and company standards. You will collaborate closely with operations and integrity teams, support maintenance and repair projects, and contribute to Plains' strong safety culture and environmental stewardship while developing your technical skills and career in energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain pipeline corrosion control systems
  • Perform field surveys, testing, and data collection on cathodic protection systems
  • Inspect and evaluate pipeline coatings and internal corrosion conditions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve corrosion and CP system issues
  • Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain regulatory records
  • Support maintenance and repair projects related to corrosion mitigation
  • Coordinate with operations and integrity teams to schedule field work
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
  • Assist with implementation of corrosion monitoring technologies
  • Participate in safety meetings and promote environmental stewardship

Required Skills

  • Use of CP meters, data loggers, and survey equipment
