We are seeking an Environmental / Regulatory Technician II to support environmental compliance and regulatory activities on a major project site. This role will serve as a key liaison between project teams, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, permit requirements, and company policies throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Support environmental and regulatory compliance programs and project initiatives.
- Monitor and track permits, licenses, approvals, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure environmental standards are implemented effectively.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with environmental management plans, waste management plans, spill response plans, and related documentation.
- Investigate and report compliance issues, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare environmental performance reports and regulatory documentation.
- Support environmental training, awareness programs, and communication between field and project teams.
- Ensure contractor compliance with environmental and regulatory obligations.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in environmental, regulatory, compliance, construction, energy, or industrial projects.
- Strong coordination, communication, and contractor management skills.
- Experience with environmental permits, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
Proficiency with computer systems and standard business software. - Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, mining, or other extractive industry projects.
- Knowledge of project financing requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems and compliance programs.
