Join Our Team as a Planning and Scheduling Lead III – Drive Project Success in the Oil & Gas Industry
Are you a seasoned scheduling expert with a knack for leading complex project controls? We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Lead III to elevate our project execution at the forefront of the oil and gas sector. Based in Carlsbad, NM, this pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale projects through expert schedule development, control, and forecasting.

- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- Extensive experience with Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership in project environments
- Proven expertise in Primavera P6 (Primavera Project Planner)
- Strong influencing, mentoring, and consulting skills combined with excellent interpersonal communication
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing project priorities and urgent operational demands
- Willingness to work overseas, relocate as needed, and thrive in team-oriented settings
- Experience in project forecasting and trend analysis
- Familiarity with work breakdown structures (WBS), control estimates, and project interface management
- Capability to develop and review recovery and corrective action plans
- Knowledge of regulatory and permitting interface schedules
- Previous oil and gas industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or construction discipline
- Minimum of [5] years in project planning, scheduling, or project controls within a high-stakes environment
- Supervisory experience leading project teams or contractor schedules
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (Monday - Friday, 60 hours/week)
- Ability to travel abroad and relocate to project sites as necessary
- Compensation of $83.00/hour, with a $120/day truck allowance (paid 6 days/week), and a $125/day per diem (paid 6 days/week)
- Duration of assignment: 12+ months with potential for extension
