• Provide guidance to students and their families in personal and interpersonal adjustment, academic concerns, career and life planning.
• Provide and connect students and their families to community resources, institutional resources, and public assistance referrals and support.
• Conduct student referrals to counseling resources and other services as appropriate to offices on and off campus as needed.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service while disseminating accurate information to prospective and current students and their families regarding admissions policies, registration, financial aid & scholarships as well as many others via multiple venues including in person, phone calls, email and text.
• Create and provide presentations on and off campus (outreach) to small and large groups as needed.
• Participate in event planning, set up, and tear down.
• Food pantry operations to include, but not limited to: shopping, stocking, inventory, student work‑study supervision, loading and unloading, assisting students shopping in the Comfort Casita, and assisting with the Comfort Casita Sustainability Plan.

Required

Education and Experience:

Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual.

• Environment:
  Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• Physical Effort:
  Moderate physical activity.
• Lifting Requirements:
  Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Risk:
  No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
