Position Description
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. They utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care.
They maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff, and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
This will be an Auto Offer Position
Night Shift 6:30 p.m.
- 7:00 a.m.
- 3/12's
Duration: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- ACLS, NRP, BLS certifications
- 2 years of experience required
Patient Ratio: 1:1 - 1:4
No Floating
No On-Call
Will Consider 48-hour Guarantees
No Options for Blocked Scheduling
EMR Systems: Med Host (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), Athena (Clinic)
