RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• 13-week assignment with 48-hour guarantees not approved

• Floating between departments required

• Call requirement: minimum 2 hours prior to shift start

• 2+ years of experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC

• NRP certification preferred

• Patient ratio: 4:1 in Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department

• Blocked scheduling not approved with 6-week scheduling cycles

• Maximum 1 RTO per schedule

• RTO blackout dates: 1 summer and 1 winter dependent on department needs

• Full uniform required (no specific scrub color restrictions)

• Work with Med Host (EDIS) electronic medical record system

• Provide comprehensive emergency care utilizing nursing process and critical thinking skills

• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively

• Administer medications and monitor for side effects

• Maintain detailed documentation and follow safety standards

• Supervise and delegate care to assigned personnel

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• New Mexico state fingerprinting required for all travelers
