Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service to employees, managers, and the HR community in response to inquiries related to a broad range of HR-related topics, including but not limited to HR policy, staffing and employee benefits. The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative, transactional, and data/records management activities in support of HR and HRIS functions, including processing life-cycle transactions such as onboarding, status change, compensation, separations, etc

COMPENSATION:
The Hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $24.33. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Provide excellent customer service in response to phone and online inquiries from employees and managers

Resolve inquiries by accessing information in multiple HR systems

Oversee employee data input and ongoing maintenance

Implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.

Assist in employment lifecycle activities, attending recruiting events, assisting new hires with paperwork, facilitating new hire orientation, inputting new hire paperwork data and processing separations

Organize and facilitate trainings, including Food Handlers and orientation

Produce reports for management, including Key Performance Indicator metrics, New Hire Referral, Guest comments, etc,.

Escalate management or employee concerns to HR Manager

Assistance for day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.

Assist in operations during peak times

Assist with catering and special events as needed.

Adhere to the uniform policy.

Adheres to Aramark and client companies, San Diego County, and OSHA safety policies and procedures for proper food safety, sanitation, storage and disposal.

Preferred 1 year in previous Human Resources or/ and Administrative role.

Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize requests and duties

Effective research, problem-solving, and follow-through skills

Strong computer/technical skills including Computer, Telephone, Copier, Scanner, Label Maker, Shredder required

Able to pass a Food Handler certification exam
