Come make a difference C is seeking a highly motivated Linux Engineer / Dev Ops Engineer to support and modernize our enterprise infrastructure platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Linux, cloud technologies, automation, and continuous improvement.

You will work alongside Infrastructure, Engineering, Security, and Application teams to build, automate, and support critical platforms running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, improve operational excellence, and help drive MGIC's cloud and automation strategy.
** What You'll Do
** As a Linux Engineer / Dev Ops Engineer, you will:
* Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
* Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Cloud Formation).
* Automate server provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
* Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
* Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve Linux, cloud, networking, and application issues.
* Partner with development teams to streamline deployments and improve reliability.
* Implement security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
* Support enterprise authentication integrations including LDAP and Active Directory.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
** What We're Looking For
**** Required Qualifications
*** 5+ years of Linux administration experience.
* Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
* Experience using:
* Ansible* Terraform
* Git* Bash or Python scripting
* CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab
* Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
* Experience troubleshooting production systems and critical incidents.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** RHCSA or RHCE certification.
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Sys Ops Administrator, or Dev Ops Engineer certification.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Open Shift, Docker, or EKS.
* Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or NGINX.
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk or Cloud Watch.
* ** LDAP and Active Directory experience is highly desirable**, including authentication, SSO, Kerberos, LDAPS, and directory service integrations.
