Measurement Technician - Site Facility Diagrams

The Measurement Technician supports oil and gas production operations by verifying measurement systems, facility layouts, and production flow paths at field locations. This role combines hands on field work with technical documentation
, ensuring facility diagrams accurately reflect actual site conditions.

The position involves visiting production facilities to inspect meters, separators, tanks, vessels, piping, and routing
, and confirming measurement points from the wellhead through sales or custody transfer. Updates are documented through facility flow diagrams and as built drawings using company approved systems.

The Measurement Technician works closely with Measurement, Operations, and Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Perform field verification at oil and gas production facilities
• Inspect measurement equipment and production systems
• Verify flow paths, piping, and measurement points
• Review and update facility flow diagrams and as built documentation
• Use Muddy Boots Online, AutoCAD, or Visio to update diagrams
• Maintain accurate documentation and revision records
• Support audits and regulatory inspections
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements

• Experience as a Measurement Technician, Lease Operator, or Production Technician
• Strong understanding of oil and gas production and measurement systems
• Hands on experience working at production facilities
• Ability to interpret facility layouts and flow diagrams

• 5 plus years of oil and gas measurement or production experience
• Experience working in the Delaware Basin or Permian Basin
• Experience with Muddy Boots Online, AutoCAD, or Visio
• Combination of field based work and office documentation
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
