We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Carlsbad, NM. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and assessment skills to provide quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to float to other units as needed is required.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med Surg unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital standards
Monitor and document patient status, medications, and treatment responses
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and patient care policies
RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
Licensure: Active NM RN license or Compact License
Certifications:
Required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
Preferred: PALS
Flexibility: Must be willing to float as needed
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Floating: Required
